ZEE5 Original Series, latest web series Fittrat is an Indian drama with romance and friendship. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor. It has main lead characters like Krystle D’Souza, Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan. It started streaming on ZEE5 on 18th October 2019.
The story is about childhood friends Tarini and Amrita who are different from each other in every way. They have completely different personalities. Tarini Bisht (Krystle D’Souza) is an ambitious, a confessed, unabashed gold digger. Her aim of life is to marry a rich man so that she can live the life of her dreams because money is everything for Tarini and she set this goal when she was just a little girl. And Amirta is a rich girl with a heart of gold. Tarini’s life took a new turn when she falls in love with her best friend’s fiancé who is Veer Shergill. The story shows the journey of Tarini from the gold digger to find the inner gold of her heart.
Tarini has seen her father in hard times. He loses his all money, all precious possessions and also their private home in her childhood. So, by seeing all this, she decided that she just want to marry a rich guy and will have all the money. One event in childhood shapes her personality in this way. In the school, she met with ultra-rich Amrita.
They both become best friends with time and they are enjoying their friendships in the best possible way. Years have passed and girls grew up and gone on their separate ways. Tarini got a gold medal in journalism but she doesn’t want to pursue her dream because she knows everything has a price and money is everything. Amrita’s fiancé Veer Shergill falls for Tarini’s charms at first sight of her. But it is just about the physical form of lust more than love. He always sets eyes on Tarini in the wrong manner. But Tarini keeps him away from herself because of her best friend. Because of this, Veer traps Tarini and gets her out of Amrita’s life. He makes every attempt possible to destroy her reputation because of revenge. In the end, he wanted to become a hero, so took a U-turn in his character. But Tarini understood his intensions so he doesn’t want him to be like this.
Tarini ends up discovering the true meaning of love and her real goal. She understood that the only true gold which is worth digging for is the gold within oneself. She says in the end that “I am my hero”.
In this series, there is every feeling like love, passion, betrayal, plotting and scheming, revenge, misunderstanding, and finally, redemption. And this all elements together makes it a great series.
